The Keeper is a riveting mystery and a searing examination of violence against women and the structures that allow it to continue.
Complex, gritty, and more than a little creepy.
As far as thrillers go, this one was mediocre at best.
This book was abysmal. The main problem seems to be a combination of lackluster plot and stilted translation.
Simone St. James is an amazing author. Her books are atmospheric, thoughtful, spooky, and ultimately hopeful.
Rachel Caine is a talented author who draws you right into this gritty, gripping story and even if you wanted to, you can’t look away.
I struggled through this book and generally found all of the characters to be unlikeable, the dialogue unrealistic, and the plot flimsy.
Jacqueline Woodson is such an exquisite writer. Her words, her stories, they sing like melodies on the page.
This book was creepy, mysterious, and unputdownable.
