My name is Alisa Williams and I'm the managing editor of Spectrum Magazine, an independent, non-profit journal published by the Adventist Forum and established in 1968.
I'm also a writer on topics including BOOKS(!!!), television, religion, spirituality, and women’s issues. My writing has been published in Spectrum Magazine, the Englewood Review of Books, Ruminate, Just About Write, Teaching of Psychology, and more.
I live and work in the Midwest with my two rescue pups, Jack Havoc and Kelevra the Dandelion Slayer, and my 16-year-old cat, Kaya. I travel the world for both work and fun, but when I'm home you'll find me drinking tea, reading a great book, and devouring all the donuts.
